Why do all tv channels, specially Geo TV, fail to tell the people that on 28th Nov 1997, Nawaz Sharif's goons attacked the Supreme Court building and stoned it? The biggest champion of the judiciary is in fact a big scumbag! Why didn't Aitzaz Ahsan and the rest of his cronies lead a movement then? Why didn't Iftikhar Chauhdry fight for the independence of judiciary then? Or is it because his job wasn't on the line then? CJ Sajjad Ali Shah resigned in 1997 when Nawaz Sharif bribed his fellow judges. These same judges did not take oath under Musharraf's first PCO but Iftikhar Chauhdry did. Now he has a problem taking oath under the second PCO?

I agree that PP didnt get vote for judiciary but most of their votes were anti-musharraf and sympathy. basically, i mean that they did not get votes for their manifesto. plus most of their voters are from illiterate band of masses who dont care about the manifesto, they are only voting ZA Bhutto.

well currently not supporting Ch. Iftikhar is equal to siding Musharraf, hence, ditching his voters.

What is the will of the masses? It's true that Nawaz got a heavy mandate on account of his solid stance on judge's issue but look at PPPP's mandate. If people wanted to restore judiciary they must had voted for PML(N) as it was obvious that PPPP was not in favour of pre Nov 3 judiciary. How could one expect that after issuing stay order against NRO, sacked CJ could win PPPP's support.
