Bolta Pakistan Returns; Cable Operators Shut it Down

Bolta Pakistan, the political talk show featuring Nusrat Javed and Mushtaq Minhas, is appearing for the first time in four months. Javed and Minhas were banned from Pakistani television by the government after emergency rule and media restrictions were imposed.

Their show is broadcasting on the Internet and satellite, but their feed to most Pakistanis was removed by cable operators 10 minutes into the show.

This episode’s topic: U.S. interference in coalition government talks between Pakistan’s political parties.

FYI: YouTube has also been possibly banned in Pakistan.

    Mr. kashif abbasi please be neutral if journalism is your education ,then they must have taught you that journalist is always neutral, unless and untill he is getting money,please be neutral and have some sense of humour, i am also working in one urdu weekly in toront, and i am fine , leg pulling, mud slinging are the most hated words. so take your time to become a gentle journalist, like P.J.Mir, learn something from him he the most loved person here. so take some lesson from him . He is a good man. he will give you some tips, don’t try to become Dr. Shahid, he is the most hated person here in my country.

    cable operator had done a good job when you people start leg pulling and mud slinging, these things are bound to happen so its fine do your job with dignity and go home and sleep naturally. and if you folks can’t do the job properly then go home and sleep.
    ok be a journalist and not party members,you are neutral.
    you all talk about west, you know what is best it is yesterdays debate in USA in Wisconson listen it and see it properly .
    than try to copy us otherwise no one will recognise you its an saying, kawa chala hans ki chal , aur apni chal he bhool gaya.learn learn and keep lerning, have some lessons from me on sundays afternoon.
