Respected Generals Mirza Afzal Beg and Hamid Gul have blamed the Americans for the assasination as she has gone overboard from the script which she has made with them and Musharaff.Though they are in agreement about the first attempt by Jehadies, they are sure that the second one was by americans. The choudhry brothers may be playing the american card scripted by neocons to disntegrate the country and then indian subcontinent itself just like Africa.

Regardless of what one might think of Benazir, she did have mass appeal across ethnic/provincial/gender boundaries. So did her father. Zardari, on the other hand, is a very controversial figure for many reasons. Any smart opponent of PPP ,with Zardari effectively at the helm, would make him an election issue. So I'm not surprised. I do, however, disagree with their use of the ethnic card.
